Overview

Strips & Conductors

Garg Electricals stocks GI, copper and aluminium strips for earthing grids and lightning protection, along with copper and aluminium busbars for panel builders and flexible copper braids for transformer and bus-duct links.

Because strip prices move with copper, aluminium and zinc rates, we quote fresh for every enquiry. Tell us the size, for example 25 × 3 mm or 50 × 6 mm, and the total running length or weight, and we will come back with today’s rate.

Strips are usually ordered together with earthing electrodes, chemical compound and pit covers. See our earthing and lightning protection range to complete the package.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Why do strip prices change so often?

Copper and aluminium strip prices track the metal market, and GI strip prices follow steel and zinc. We quote current rates on the day of your enquiry.

Do you supply strips by weight or by length?

Strips are usually priced by weight (per kg) and supplied in standard lengths. Tell us the size and running length you need and we will convert it for the quote.

GI strip or copper strip for earthing?

GI strip is the economical standard for most equipment earthing grids. Copper strip is preferred for transformer neutrals, electronic and IT earthing, and where soil is corrosive. Follow your design specification.
